Maggie Walker Coach and Student Athletes Garner Awards

May 21, 2010  Numerous Maggie Walker Student Athletes were recognized by the Colonial District for their outstanding achievements on and off the field this spring as the Colonial District announced its spring awards this week.   Student athletes were recognized in four team sports, and boys soccer coach Ryan Molloy garnered recognition with Coach of the Year Award for his leadership of the boys team.   The following were recognized:

Softball All-District:

2^nd Team- Lindsay Maguire, Audrey Kriva (9^th)

Honorable Mention- Catherine Wise, Mariel Jorgensen, Betsy Surma

All Academic- Kriva, Maguire, Wise, Jorgensen, Surma

Baseball All-District:

Honorable Mention- Jake Davis, Walter Goethal

All Academic- Davis and Goethal

Girls Soccer All-District:

First team-Alex Pinkleton, Katy Vollum

Second Team- Cheta Emba, Cassie Turnage, Amanda Savage

Honorable Mention- Nemo Keller, Kerry Sawyer, Kendall Huennekens

All Academic- All were AA

Boys Soccer All District:

First Team- Kyle Herman, Andrew Sullivan

Second Team-Ese Shaw, David Wagner, Dan Laws

Honorable Mention- Beau Banks, Ryan Taafe, Matt Gill, Sam Meredith

All Academic- All were AA
